There will be a repair cafe operating at the Port Union Community Centre on various Saturdays in 2026. 

Fixers will help you repair small appliances, electronics, toys, clothes, bikes, and more.

Star Gazing Night
Friday, April 24, 2026 from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Meet by the Gazebo at Port Union Waterfront Park

West Rouge Sports & Recreation Association is hosting an in-person star gazing event  on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the gazebo at Port Union Waterfront Park.

With Astronomer Ian, attendees will view the starry shy and observe a first quarter moon and possibly Venus and Jupiter.

For the safety of the Volunteers:

For help with large item pickups please call ahead to schedule for Event Day pickup only.

  • E‐Waste, Scrap Metal, Batteries, Clothing

  • Bottle Drive—Returnable Bottles/Cans (Beer/Alcohol)

  • Broken or unwanted electronics: All TVs, VCRs, Computers, Monitors, Printers, Stereos, Wire, X‐mas Lights, Scrap Metal, Appliances, All Batteries, Cell Phones, Tablets, Any Condition Used Clothing, Ties, Yarn, Luggage, Shoes, Fabric, Bedding, Blankets, Linens, Draperies, Belts, Purses
